Very pleased with the ambiance and the elegance that this establishment has. The service is excellent and the workers are very welcoming. The food is cooked to perfection, however I would have liked to see bigger portions as I was disappointed with my chicken once it came out. The Bone Marrow Mashed potatoes was the special side of the day and it did not disappoint, the Brussels sprouts were yummy and the drinks were strong. If you have some money to spend this is definitely the place to check out, 10/10.
What a cute spot for a date night! This cozy restaurant features some diverse flavors on their menu. We started with the ciabatta loaf with the olive tapenade, pretty good! I had the pork chop for my meal and my boyfriend had the chicken breast. My pork chop was delicious! My boyfriend wished the chicken breast was a little bit more filling. The bone marrow mash definitely is an acquired taste, I may have settled more on the regular mash. The brussel sprouts were the star of the show!! Our servers wwre kind and attentive, everyone at this restaurant works well together to provide a solid experience. A bit pricey but you're paying for the experience.
Came to Symmetry with three friends on Valentine's Day at 7 pm - peak dinner time. My friend reserved a table for the four of us and requested a booth, which was perfect because it blocked out a lot of the noise from the rest of the restaurant. We were able to converse with each other throughout the night without having to yell. Ambiance: Symmetry has elegant decor - table cloths, booth and table seatings, a full bar, and cozy seatings perfect for an intimate dinner or date night. Service: The servers were very friendly! We received our drinks and food kind of late, but I expected that since the place was packed due to it being a holiday Food: *Oyster Trio* 6 oysters - the perfect appetizer for 2 people to share. Each one was beautifully seasoned allowing us to savor the taste afterwards *Shrimp Scampi* scrumptious pasta dish with plenty of large-sized shrimp to get in every bite. The portion size is generous, linguine was cooked perfectly al dente, and the garlic butter sauce was so tasty. I liked that the flavors were not too overpowering *Bone Marrow w/ Mashed Potatoes* We saw pictures of this online and had to order it just for the size of the bone! The sides come a la carte style and the server scraped the marrow from the bone into the potatoes and mixed it herself. This side dish was probably my favorite food of the night *Filet Mignon well-done* I'm not a huge steak person, but I do love the taste! I tried a bite and give this 5 stars...so juicy and tender *Carrot Cake* this dessert is your typical carrot cake with cream cheese frosting but with flair - added in are some candied shreds of carrot. Drinks: *Peace Pipe* delicious smoky drink flavored with a clove syrup in addition to a fun experience! This drink came with a huge ice cube in a glass and a separate bottle with the drink + smoke that was stoppered until I was ready to pour the drink in the glass. I ordered this twice because it was that good! *Puttin' on the Spritz* a refreshing citrusy and cranberry flavored spritzy drink *DePeche Mode* this drink has bitters in it along with four fruit flavors (pear, apricot, lemon, peach) which make it so fancy tasting and wonderful. I can't get enough of the craft cocktails at this place. I want to try them all! Overall, I highly recommend Symmetry for a fancy dinner to celebrate a special occasion. The seasonal cocktails are my favorite and the food and service are phenomenal. I may come back just for those bone marrow mashed potatoes and cocktails!
After learning this place is owned by the same folks as mahogany I was excited to try! We started with the oyster trio which left us wanting more. Then I had a 8oz filet with bone marrow mashed potatoes. All of the food was amazing. I heard someone mention their Caesar salad was bad. The ambiance here is very nice. We reserved a quiet booth and didn't have any problems hearing each other. I would go back.
I came to Symmetry for Valentine's Day dinner and had a great experience overall! Funny enough, I had been here before with some friend couples, where I tried the 40-day aged ribeye and really enjoyed it--but I never wrote a review. So, I'm making sure to write one this time! For my meal, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and added truffle garlic butter on top of my steak. I also got a Caprese salad to start and finished with a chocolate cake with blackberries for dessert. Food: * Steak: Cooked to perfection--juicy, buttery, and full of flavor. I loved the truffle garlic butter on top; it really enhanced the richness of the ribeye. * Mashed Potatoes: Very good! My fiancé and I both enjoyed them, but in hindsight, I think I would have preferred Brussels sprouts or something lighter to balance the steak. * Caprese Salad: This was the most disappointing part of the meal. The tomatoes had no flavor, and the balsamic lacked the punch I was expecting. It just didn't impress me. * Chocolate Cake: A nice dessert, but a bit too sweet for my personal taste. However, I knew what I was getting into, and since we split it, it was fine. Service & Experience: Service was a little slow, but considering it was a holiday, I completely understand. The restaurant was busy, and they were doing their best. Final Thoughts: Despite the underwhelming Caprese salad, everything else was great, and I will definitely be back. This place knows how to do steak right!
Atmosphere: Upon entering Symmetry, you are immediately drawn into its modern and elegant atmosphere. Cool grays fade into blacks, accented by pops of red that seamlessly tie the space together, from the front door to the artwork. The walls feature pop art with copper tones, modern pendant lights hang gracefully, and the music is perfectly balanced. Service for the evening was led by Amy, a seasoned veteran from the Hal Smith group. Amy was enthusiastic, engaging, and knowledgeable about both the menu and the restaurant. Our water glasses were consistently refilled, new silverware was provided between courses, and each dish was introduced in detail. Food: "Trio of Oysters" featuring Chimi Argentine, Apple Mignonette, Calabrian Romesco Each oyster offered a distinctly unique flavor profile. The Chimi Argentine oyster brought a refreshing herbaceous note that paired beautifully with the briny sweetness of the oyster, while the addition of caviar elevated the bite, with tiny pearls bursting on the palate. The apple mignonette, with pickled shallots, added a delightful sweet-tangy touch, and the Calabrian Romesco provided a smoky heat that was simply lovely. "Korean Duck Wings" with Korean BBQ, Chilis, Garlic, Spring Onions. Each bite opens with sweet umami notes of garlic, soy, and gochujang, followed by rich middle notes of duck, and finishes with a touch of chili and garlic sweetness. The fry on the duck creates an incredibly crunchy crust, adding wonderful texture to each bite, while the interior remains juicy and tender. "Roasted Bone Marrow" with Whipped Gorgonzola, Chimichurri, Mixed Greens, Crostini The bone marrow is beautifully cooked, with chimichurri adding a refreshing burst of flavor that cuts through the rich, unctuous profile of the marrow. Each bite opens with the deep flavor of bone marrow, transitions into vibrant middle notes from the chimichurri, and finishes with the funky, buttery essence of gorgonzola from the whip. "Wedge Salad" with Romaine, Tomato, Pancetta, Gorgonzola, Egg, Blue Cheese, Balsamic Glaze This salad is a beautiful take on a steakhouse classic. The house-made blue cheese is generously portioned, and the warm, crisp pancetta adds a pleasing temperature contrast. Each bite begins with the freshness of lettuce, then moves into the rich, creamy blue cheese, with middle notes of tangy balsamic and finishing notes of egg, all of which balance the blue cheese's richness perfectly. The balsamic brings a lovely sweet tang to each bite. A simply fantastic salad. "Prime Cowboy 18oz" The beef at Symmetry is sourced from Lynn's of Oklahoma and is a fusion of grass- and corn-fed beef. Cooked to a perfect medium rare plus, this choice allows for optimal fat rendering. Symmetry's unique seasoning enhances the beef's flavor profile, while a brush of butter adds a lovely, nutty layer. The accompanying au poivre sauce, featuring pink peppercorns, provides a sweet, floral note that is delightful when used sparingly. "Off the Cob Cream Corn" This is one of the best sides I've ever had at a steakhouse. Each bite bursts with fresh, sweet corn flavors, leading into creamy, buttery middle notes and finishing with the nutty depth of Parmesan and a hint of fresh herbs. The flavors work in perfect harmony, making this side simply stunning and an ideal complement to the beef. "Bone Marrow Mashed Potatoes" featuring butter and bone marrow. The final side of the evening was bone marrow mashed potatoes--an opulent and decadent delight that brought a taste of ethereal richness. Bone marrow is folded into butter-infused mashed potatoes, creating a truly indulgent side. The creamy texture, combined with slight potato chunks, adds to the overall experience, while the fatty bursts of bone marrow coat the palate with luxurious richness. "Carrot Cake" with house made candied carrots, carrot puree, and whipped cream. The carrot cake is sourced from La Baguette North. It's a rich, well-balanced cake with a blend of nuts, carrot, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a subtle cream cheese frosting. The addition of lightly sweet whipped cream and a decadent carrot purée enhances the overall flavor profile. "Grasshopper ice" The final offering is a twist on a steakhouse classic, brandy ice. Here, milk and cream are infused with crème de menthe and mint, creating a beautifully rich, minty delight in a cup. Overall: To date, Mahogany holds my highest steakhouse rating in Oklahoma. The atmosphere, service, sides, appetizers, vision, and execution are truly memorable. Were there slight flaws? Yes. Regardless, Symmetry captures the essence of a New York-style steakhouse while adding its own modern touch, creating an evening that sparkles for all who attend.
This was a great surprise and perfect at the end of a busy day. Small, intimate, personal service, fabulous food and amazing cocktails!
This place is like a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it during our wedding anniversary staycation. We ordered a filet to share and the bone marrow because our goal was to try a few dishes at multiple places. The vibe is very date night dark and sultry, so great for a romantic time. The service was great for us too! It wasn't busy on the night we went. Our filet was well cooked to our liking and the bone marrow was good but tbh there wasn't much marrow in the bone for us. Still very flavorful. Definitely a spot we need to dedicate the night to in order to fully experience it, so it's on our list for our next nice date night!
This place is truly amazing! First off, the ambience is stellar and hits you with amazing art and lighting when you first walk in. The service was also exceptional - Devin (sp?) described the specials in extreme detail and another server was very attentive regarding the drinks. Excellent wine and iced tea. So the best part is their food: incredible steaks, oyster appetizers, bread with cheese flavored dip, sautéed mushrooms and last but not least, their mashed potatoes with bone marrow (which was sublime). This may be the best steakhouse in PKC, certainly the newest - and I give it the highest possible recommendation!
Tonight, my California Ladies and I experienced Symmetry for the first time, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Adjusting to our Oklahoma life, being California transplants, we found a gem in this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our servers, Tevin and Amy, were exceptional--attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our dining experience memorable. We started our evening with appetizers and cocktails. The Ciabatta bread and spread, along with the Korean Duck wings, set the tone for what would be an amazing meal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. For our main course, we had a variety of dishes: the Caesar Salad, Pork Chop, and the special of the night--a Wagyu Steak cut topped with Lobster Oscar. Each dish was cooked to perfection. The Pork Chop was tender and juicy, the Caesar Salad crisp and fresh, and the Wagyu Steak was an indulgence we won't soon forget. The Lobster Oscar topping added a luxurious touch. The sides were just as impressive. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes, topped with Marrow Butter, were creamy and decadent. Every bite was a delight. Our meal was so exceptional that we just had to express our gratitude to the chef. Chef Glenn came out to our table, accompanied by Dave and Austin, and we had the pleasure of thanking him in person. It was clear that the passion and dedication of the entire team at Symmetry contributed to our wonderful dining experience. We left Symmetry feeling full, satisfied, and already looking forward to our next visit. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out. The combination of outstanding food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. Though we were having such a good time that I didn't get many pictures, I'll post what I have. We can't wait to go back! Cali Gurls!
